Our Church Complex is located at the corner of Wynne and Stoney Camp Road Park Ridge Queensland in a beautiful parkland setting on 9.5 acres of land.
We have a seating capacity of 275 in the body of the Church with seperate areas for the childrens divisions of Cradle roll, Kindergarten, and Primary. We have a kitchen and catering area.
The Youth lodge is located nearby in a separate building.
In early February of 1976 an idea was born, to establish a new Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Park Ridge District. A number of people living in the area at that time, met in the Progress Association Hall one Saturday afternoon to express their interest in this project. These people were attending churches in the Eight Mile Plains, Springwood, Sherwood, Beaudesert and Carbrook areas but felt the need to have a church at Park Ridge.
A number of fund raising ventures were undertaken, among them a team who moved furniture locally and interstate, on one occasion from Brisbane to Western Australia. A local carpenter built a “spec” home to raise money for the project, along with many other ventures.
A block of land was purchased in Hubner Road but was later sold in preference to the more suitable location on the corner of Stoney Camp and Wynne Roads Greenbank, where the new church has been established for the past 25 years.
A well known builder / contractor Mr Sheng Pui Hung built the church with the help of some trades men from the church. It was dedicated and opened in 1983 under the ministry of Pastor John Kosmeier.
